Welcome to Sitepost, your AI-powered design assistant for Shopify! This guide will walk you through the initial setup and basic usage of the app.

Activating the App Embed

If you haven't done so already, you'll need to activate the Sitepost AI Editor app embed in order to use app. There are two ways to do this:

From the app dashboard: Click the "Activate App Embed" button.
Guided by AI: Select a theme to edit, and the AI will guide you through activating the embed.

Once you've followed the link to the theme editor, simply press the "Save" button in the top right corner to activate the embed.

Using Sitepost

After activating the embed, follow these steps to start customizing your store:

Select a theme to edit. This will open the chat window.

Chat with the AI to request custom changes to your site. You can:

Add or modify copy
Add sections
Create images
Create or modify styles

Content Restrictions

Sitepost generates authentic frontend content. It cannot generate misleading or falsified content, including but not limited to:

Customer Testimonials or Reviews: These require authentic customer feedback and cannot be artificially generated.
Review or Rating Systems: Requires backend validation and cannot be simulated.

Example of prompts to avoid:

Instead, consider focusing on authentic product highlights:
